Dear Players,
Please read the following carefully, as it has been prepared to help you reach the tournament venue and return to your hotel as efficiently and effectively as possible.
The fundamental requirement is punctuality.
Players staying at the Grand Hotel Costa Brada
Please check in advance where your tournament room is located and arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Electronic devices are not allowed in the playing area, so please leave them in your room. The hotel reception will not be responsible for their safekeeping.
Players at Ecoresort Le Sirenè
On the way there: please arrive at the playing venue at least 15 minutes before the matches. To do so, we kindly ask you not to use the provincial road, which has no pavement. We have created an internal path connecting the car park of the Ecoresort Le Sirenè hotel with the garden of the Grand Hotel Costa Brada. The path in question has a total length of 200 metres.
When you leave Ecoresort Le Sirenè, turn left and cross the car park, following the signs until you reach a gate that will take you into the garden area of the Grand Hotel Costa Brada. Continue straight ahead, and the signs along the route will guide you to the pool area, from where you will see the venue straight ahead.
Anyone who is unable or unwilling to walk these 200 metres due to disability, injury or health reasons can request a shuttle service by sending a direct message to the dedicated WhatsApp group (find the invitation to join below in this page) or an email to polinamarcella@icloud.it.
The message must be received by 1 p.m. on the day of the race for which the transfer is requested.
Return: the route between the two hotels is closed for safety reasons at 5 p.m. From 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., a 20-seater shuttle bus will operate the following route: Ecoresort Le Sirene, Joli Park Hotel, Hotel Palazzo del Corso, Hotel Bellavista Club.
Any player who completes their match after 9 p.m. may contact the logistics manager, Polina Moskvina, via direct message on the tournament WhatsApp group and request a free transfer by taxi.
Any transfer to the official hotels (or to another destination) requested by a player who has not completed their match after 9 p.m. can be arranged, for a fee, by contacting the reception desk of their hotel.
As regards the last round on 1st November, the entire procedure will be delayed by one hour, as the daily round is scheduled for 2 pm.
